Tuesday 10/28 Damn phones anyway

I have suited up twice now to go hit the water and both times I've been called away to do something else.

     I decided to turn off my phone, before I hit the water from now on or at least the ringer!!!!
It started raining early this morning and hasn't let up much the Okanogan has risen from 1190 cfs to 1440. That's still fish-able for me but i'm sure that it will keep alot of others away, but that A-O-K with me. I'll call, Glen, Pat, Doc, Gary and maybe a few others tonite to see if they want to head out tomorrow at sunup. My guess the only taker I get will be Gary.

I did get out around noon. made it to my local hole just as the sun came out for a short while. Got my first keeper of the day shortly after I got there. and just a few cast later bang my next one was a keeper too. less than a hour.and i have to call it quites for the day. With a smile on my face and two for the freezer and lader for the smoker. Homeward bound.

  
   Maybe I was called away from the water for a reason.The good Lord only knows and the Fish Gods blessed me when I got there. Tomorrow is another day. I'll check the river flow at 7am. Just heard back from Gary and he's in if the river doesn't come up to much.
