Crawdads and big fish

I was windy again this morning so I sat at the bench. tying up some new crawdads to run over to my friends private lake to try.

#6  Crawdad

 this is a small Brown of maybe 5lbs

With just tow tyed up as test models I headed over to the lake to give them a fling. The first one was snapped off because I only had on 4x tippit I went down to a 2X and landed 1 nice Brook, two Tigers, two Browns, and two bodasish Bows the action was slow at first but when I found the right speed it was like being behine the wheel of a NASA  launch pad hard and fast. one of the Bows came out of the water no less than 3 ft and more than once. I'll be tying more.
